01Who we are

PalV’s DM (“we”, “us”) is a digital marketing agency operated by Palash, based in India. This policy covers the website www.palvdm.com and the ways we handle information when you use it or contact us.

02What we collect

• Details you send us: name, email address, website URL, and message contents when you submit the audit request or contact form, message us on WhatsApp, or email us.
• Newsletter email: if you subscribe to our email updates.
• Usage data: standard analytics — pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you found us — collected via Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity (which records anonymised interaction patterns such as scrolling and clicks).
• Technical logs: our hosting provider records IP addresses and request logs as part of normal server operation.

We do not collect payment card details on this website. Payments, where applicable, are processed by Razorpay on their own secure systems.

03Why we collect it

• To deliver what you asked for — an audit, a reply, a proposal, or a service.
• To send the newsletter, only if you subscribed. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it.
• To keep basic business records.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with anyone for their marketing.

04Consent and your choices

We process your information based on your consent under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). You can withdraw consent at any time — unsubscribe from emails, decline analytics cookies via the consent bar, or email us to have your details removed.

05Who we share data with (processors)

Limited service providers who help run the site and the business: hosting (Hostinger), analytics (Google, Microsoft), email delivery, and payment processing where relevant. Each processes data under its own safeguards and only for the purpose we engaged it for. Some providers may store data outside India.

06Cookies

The site uses cookies for analytics only. The consent bar lets you accept or decline them; declining does not block any content. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set by us.

07How long we keep it

• Enquiry and audit-request details: up to 12 months after our last contact, unless you become a client (then for the duration of the engagement plus normal business-record periods).
• Newsletter email: until you unsubscribe.
• Analytics data: per the retention settings of the analytics tools (14 months in GA4).

08Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to: access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, erase it, or tell you how it’s being used. You can also raise a grievance. 09Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards — HTTPS across the site, access controls on the systems that store your details, and reputable providers. No internet transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to protect what you share.

10Third-party links

The site links to external sites (for example, sources we cite in articles). Their privacy practices are their own; this policy doesn’t cover them.

11Children

This website and our services are directed at businesses and adults, not at children under 18. We don’t knowingly collect children’s data.

12Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we update the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page.
